In 2015 we were invited to participate in the Rockland County Annual Charity Barbecue Festival by organizers who had been following our BBQ adventures on social media. Rub It Til It Smokes (RITISBBQ) was born.
In the years since, we have volunteered in BBQ fundraising efforts supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and No Shave November, and the 2018 Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Coca-Cola Backyard BBQ benefiting No Kid Hungry and Food Bank for NYC.
We annually participate in the Rockland County Charity Barbecue Festivals, benefitting the United Hospice of Rockland, People to People of Rockland, and CANDLE of Rockland.
We consistently share news and articles about BBQ and cooking subject matter along with RITIS’ adventures in cooking on our social channels.
